FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions about The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference 2024? See below for answers to a few frequently asked questions.

Q: When/Where is The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference 2024 taking place?
No change in the location or dates! The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference is taking place May 29-31, 2024 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX.

Q: If I registered for ASTA Global Convention do I need to re-register?
No! You are already in our system and registered for The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference 2024 and no further action is necessary. Congratulations on planning ahead and we can't wait to see you in Dallas!

Q: Tracks are new this year, can you explain how this works?
We have organized the conference so that the breakout education sessions fall under one of three tracks:
Cultivate: for those newer to the industry
Accelerate: for those more focused on business growth
Innovate: for mid-large sized agency owners/managers

We will require attendees to sign up for specific education sessions in advance and our sign up feature for education sessions will be available in 2024. You will be able to attend sessions that are in multiple tracks. The tracks are designed to help you get the most out of the conference. There will also be an orientation for each track at the beginning of the conference. All registered attendees will be notified via email when it’s time to select and register for education sessions.

Q: What if I miss a session or can't decide between two?
Good news! We are repeating many sessions occurring on the same day in different time slots, so you don’t have to miss a thing. Check out the agenda

Q: Is there a special rate at the host hotel for attendees?
Yes. We've secured a special rate, starting at $239/night at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. For more information on rates and how to book, visit the Attendee Service Center.

Q: What is the cutoff date to book my room using the discounted rate?
More information coming soon!

Q: What is the dress code?
The dress code for events taking place during the day at The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference is business casual. While we expect the weather to be beautiful outside, don't forget a jacket or sweater -- sometimes the temperature in the meeting rooms can be difficult to control. All sightseeing activities and evening receptions are casual dress. However, for those attending the ASTA Advocacy Dinner, black-tie/formal attire is required.

Q: What’s included in my registration?
  • Access to all education sessions, plus our General Session
  • Complimentary admission to evening networking events
  • Admittance to the in-person trade show floor to meet with a multitude of travel suppliers
Q: Do I have to register to attend an education session?
Yes. Choosing your education sessions before arriving at The ASTA Travel Advisor Conference 2024 helps our meetings team to plan and prepare our meeting rooms based on interest received. Registering for your sessions also helps you to keep track of your schedule via our event app. All registered attendees will be notified when session selection opens. Note: Registering does not guarantee you a seat or restrict you from attending a different session onsite. Please arrive early to each session to secure your seat.
